Lots of bleary eyes this morning. Many people stayed up into the wee hours following media reports of a firefight between Boston police and the two suspects sought for the Boston Marathon bombing (that’s ongoing, by the way). Others stayed up until the middle of the night to hear the new Daft Punk single, “Get Lucky,” which officially hit the Internet at midnight EST.

In the long history of recorded music, there may not have been a song that teased fans as much as “Get Lucky.” In the weeks prior to the official release, we heard snippets of the track on commercials that aired during Saturday Night Live, saw pre-recorded video footage at the Coachella festival and read myriad rumors on music blogs. In the past few days, YouTube and music streaming sites were flooded with fake “leaks” — some of which were so convincing that thousands of fans were duped into believing they were the real deal.

All of that’s in the past, now. Finally, the real version of “Get Lucky” is upon us. It’s on Daft Punk’s official YouTube channel. More importantly, it grooves hard — like only a Daft Punk song can. It’s the real deal, folks. Well, the radio edit, at least.

Without further ado, here it is:

Daft Punk’s new album, Random Access Memories, the French duo’s first studio album since 2005’s Human After All, drops on May 21.
