Frozen Pizza Recall Expanded to Include Many Other Frozen Snacks

It’s not delivery, it’s diarrhea…

Rich Products Corporation offered a voluntary recall on several of their frozen foods in late March. Now, just in time for the weekend, they’ve expanded the recall to include their Farm-Rich frozen snacks including Mini Quesadillas, Mini Pizza Slices, Mozzarella Bites, Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers and Philly Cheese Steaks. You know, all those things you were planning to consumer during this weekend’s Final Four!

Don’t eat any of these foods from Farm Rich. It’s not a “the cheese is a little funky” recall. This is a potential E. Coli-related recall and, all jokes aside, the food could leave you feeling more than a little funky after ingestion. And you thought you felt queasy after seeing Kevin Ware’s injury last weekend? (Dang it. I just said all jokes aside, didn’t I?)

To be even more specific, the snacks and frozen pizzas being recalled are labeled with a best-before date of January 1, 2013 to September 29, 2014. Yes, that is a huge window. Honestly, if you’ve still got snacks in your freezer with dates from three months ago, it’s probably time to throw those suckers out regardless of the recall!

You can return these products to wherever you purchased them from for a refund or an exchange for non-recalled goods.

If your diet consists mainly of frozen snacks, mind you, you’re probably going to feel a little queasy regardless.
