Guy Selling Jim Carrey Autograph So He Can Afford a Gun (VIDEO)

Not everybody was amused by Jim Carrey‘s “Cold Dead Hand,” his video on Funny or Die lampooning Charlton Heston and the gun-loving philosophy he represents.

One guy in particular was so offended that he put a once-prized possession — an autographed 8×10 photo of Carrey — up for sale on eBay. The money he makes from selling the picture, he says, will go straight toward the purchase of a new gun.

“I lost all respect for Mr. Carrey after he released his ‘Cold Dead Hands’ video,” writers the seller, astrobuzz, who has never listed anything on eBay before.

“I believe in the 2nd amendment and my rights shall not be infringed. From MY cold dead hands Mr. Carrey.”

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the video that has made astrobuzz and countless others so rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ mad.

Bidding has already reached $520 for the photo — and is sure to skyrocket in the five days remaining in the auction.

With the money astrobuzz earns from the sale, he intends to buy a Glock G30S .45 ACP Pistol, which is a sub-compact “conceal-and-carry hybrid” firearm exceptionally good at making people not be alive anymore.

If the sale of the autographed picture nets more than the pistol’s $640 price tag, astrobuzz will buy a laser sight and a “concealed carry permit.”

It’s safe to assume that the highest eBay bidder will use the autographed photo for target practice.
