We’ve known for some time that when next-gen consoles go on sale in November, the PlayStation 4 will cost $399 — $100 less than the Xbox One.
Now, Amazon France has leaked images of a new bundle that includes one of the PS4’s most-anticipated launch games, Killzone: Shadow Fall, the PlayStation Eye camera and a second controller for 499 euros.
Many gamers will see this as a better bargain than Microsoft’s similarly priced pre-order bundle, which includes a Kinect 2.0 peripheral and a copy of soccer game FIFA 14. You won’t get a second Xbox One controller with Microsoft’s bundle.
Right now both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 bundles are listed at 499 euros, or about $650. But don’t fret, North Americans: tech hardware tends to be quite a bit cheaper stateside, so we can expect these bundles to be priced somewhere between $500 and $600.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that Microsoft may swap out FIFA 14 for its North American launch, given that soccer isn’t quite as popular in the US of A. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Killzone: Shadow Fall bundled with the PS4 in North America.
Neither Sony nor Microsoft have officially unveiled the prices of any PlayStation 4 or Xbox One bundles.
