The NFL isn’t behind accused murderer Aaron Hernandez. After the tight end was charged with the killing of Odin Lloyd, the league scrubbed all his stats from its website (though they have since been restored).
Hernandez’s team, the New England Patriots, aren’t behind him either. The team dumped his multimillion-dollar contract just hours after he was arrested and subsequently offered all fans who’ve purchased a #81 Hernandez jersey the chance to trade it in for a player who definitely hasn’t killed a man.
Hernandez isn’t completely without support, however. One individual who’s still in his corner is Snoop Dogg, the rapper who once released a song called “Murder Was the Case.”
Snoop posted this photo of him and Hernandez hanging out in better times to his Instagram account yesterday, with the caption “Keep ya head up !! We prayn 4 ya.”
