The nest of yellow jackets in a “remote area” of Florida (thank goodness) in the video below is more than six feet tall and eight feet wide. It houses not just one queen, but thousands of them. Oh, and those queens command armies of “millions” of workers — enough to kill a person who stumbled upon it and got stung repeatedly.
Isn’t it just great to know this kind of stuff exists in the world?
