Andrew Garfield is currently shooting The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the 2014 follow-up to the 2012 reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise, in New York City.
In between takes the other day, Garfield (or perhaps his stunt double — there’s no way to know for sure) really lived up to the title of “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” by venturing over to a basketball court in Chinatown to shoot some hoops with a group of kids who just made a memory that will stay with them forever. How many of us get to play basketball with Spider-Man himself?

Garfield has the reputation of being a pretty fun, down-to-earth guy who likes to have some fun and break away from the sheltered celebrity life when he can. At the San Diego Comic-Con in 2011, he dressed up in a crappy Spider-Man costume and lined up to ask a question at the Spider-Man panel before he ripped off his mask to reveal his true identity:
