Geez, Louise. Just when you thought there was nothing left in the off-season chronicles of Tim Tebow… This is so awful it’s awesome.
I certainly can’t argue with the facts presented by John Morgan. The popular attorney for Morgan & Morgan presents a pretty strong case for why his favorite NFL team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, should sign north Florida native and fellow University of Florida alum, quarterback Tim Tebow.
Let’s have a look at this incredible ad.
Not only does Morgan drive a hard, stats- and facts-based argument — apart from the ridiculous “you can’t TiVo Tebow” thing (you can definitely TiVo him).
He also drives a hard bargain. He verbally binds himself in a viral video to buying the luxury box that Jags owner Shad Khan has been hoping to sell to him.
Khan has repeatedly stated that he doesn’t want to welcome the media circus surrounding Tebow to Jacksonville. He doesn’t believe it would offer anything positive or push the franchise toward more wins. He is cool, however, with having an alleged criminal like Justin Blackmon on the roster.
If Khan wants to avoid the media circus involving Tebow, all the team would have to do is sign the quarterback, then immediately name him the starter and build the offense around his skill set. No drama. No circus. Would they win more games than they did last year? Probably. Would they be threat to win the division? Nah. Make the playoffs? Possibly. Win the AFC? C’mon.
