Good grief. If the guests on The Jerry Springer Show were well-spoken and educated, it would go something like this.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton testified before congress today, accepting responsibility for the gross oversight involved in the 9/11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Clinton, who recently recovered from an illness, was emotional and uncomfortable sitting on the razor’s edge – and understandably so.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, the son of the well known former Congressman and cult status presidential candidate Ron Paul, offered an initial kind greeting, then immediately put Clinton through the gauntlet.
Did you squirm a little watching that? You don’t need to be interested in American politics to enjoy such drama. Of course, you probably hated it if you’re hoping to see Clinton 2.0 in the White House come January 2017.
Now, I don’t want come across as a Hillary hater. Hillary Clinton is a brilliant woman. But this was a straight up smack of accountability — and deservedly so. Looking into my crystal ball (also known as my mason jar full of Sprite), I see these two politicians going head-to-head at the polls in 2016.
