The Ku Klux Klan. The Neo-Nazis. You consider the hate ascribed to those groups and you get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, don’t you?
The local Charlotte, North Carolina, chapters of the Ku Klux Nazis had a little gatherin’ last Saturday, sharing their disdain for all things related to immigration, color and probably the recent presidential election that ensured Barack Obama would “enjoy” another four years in the Oval Office.
While the folks making up the the swastika/hood-wearing hate groups possessed the right to peacefully assemble, so did many other citizens of Charlotte. And so they did — in unique attire that stole all the attention from the racists. Citizens dressed as… clowns? This calls for some video:
The world needs more of this. If haters gonna hate, throw a party!
Similar responses to the hate-spewing Westboro Baptist Church have been staged over the past several months. People creating barricades to offer support to the victims of ill-timed and misguided, hateful protests.
I’m continually amazed that these people who have such an issue with immigration are nothing but the descendants of immigrants themselves. If only they realized that they’re not losing jobs and opportunities to immigrants, but because of the fact that they’re members of the KKK and/or Neo-Nazi party…
