Looking to pick up a tablet computer in the next few days? Then you might want to head on over to an AT&T store. The firm is getting a head start on the holiday season by knocking $100 off any tablet purchased at its retail outlets or through its website.
The deal starts Friday (er, today). Customers are limited to two tablet purchases.
However, it’s important you’re aware of the fine print. Only those people who sign a two-year AT&T service contract — including a standalone data plan or AT&T’s shared data plan — will be eligible. You may want to reevaluate your current services and determine if the AT&T UVerse is an option. There are sometimes even Uverse coupon codes that my reduce the prices of all of your subscription services.
AT&T has several data options available, including $10 for up to 20GB. Multiple devices can share the plan.
AT&T hasn’t announced when the deal will end. However, a representative indicated that the promotion will only last as long as supplies are available.
A number of popular tablet devices are available through the deal. AT&T says customers can pick an Apple iPad, Samsung Atvi Smart PC, or a Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
Several more tablets are available on AT&T’s website, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, the Pantech Element, and the HTC Jetstream.
Those tablets that support 4G LTE high-speed technology will be able to connect to AT&T’s growing LTE network.
Because customers will have to sign a two-year contract this is by no means a steal. However, if you’re in the market for a 4G LTE-enabled tablet and planned to sign a service contract anyway, AT&T’s bargain offers an easy way to save $100.
