The South Park guys are pretty sure they know who’s going to win today’s presidential election. So sure, in fact, that tomorrow’s episode of the show is entitled “Obama Wins!” The plot of the episode centers around Cartman’s belief that he has the ability to directly influence the outcome of the election.
Take a look at a short clip:
Despite the fact that they run a cartoon, Trey Parker and Matt Stone may actually have had a large impact on the outcome of the 2012 presidential election. Their acclaimed Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, has gone a long way toward convincing people that Mormons are crazy.
On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Parker and Stone revealed that Mitt Romney has a standing invitation to see Mormon, but he’s yet to claim his tickets (what a huge surprise).
The two also claimed that some Mormons live the musical, despite its extremely risque material (it includes a song called “Hasa Diga Eebowai,” which literally translates to “F*ck You, God”). Incredibly, the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints actually paid to advertise in the show’s playbook.
