By now you’ve heard–and subsequently not cared–about the feud between the rapper and the diva, but as details emerge, it seems Mariah Carey feels potentially threatened. Enough that she has hired extra security personal.
After a disagreement about a contestant’s level of talent, Mariah Carey maintains that Nicki Minaj made an anger-charged statement as they left set. That statement?
“If I had a gun, I would shoot the b***h!”
It probably wasn’t the first time someone said that about Mariah Carey.
American Idol producers have denied that there was a legitimate death threat on the set, and have played it off as the result of high tension and competitive nature of the ladies judging Idol. At a later point, Minaj supposedly told Carey, “I love you, but we might fight again.” No doubt.
When the show goes live, these two cats are gonna go at it. And because of that, more people will watch than who watched last season, or the season before… And the show will remain as watered down and overproduced as it has every season.
This show could have ended after the first season–here’s to hoping that it will finally see an end after the 12th!
