Remember Ross Perot? That guy everyone liked to poke fun at back in the day? The guy who said things like this:
Ross Perot turned out to be an American prophet, didn’t he? He warned of shipping manufacturing jobs to China, as well as the subsequent results. Did Americans listen? Nah. Did the federal and state representatives of those Americans listen? Nah. Say what you will about Ross–the guy didn’t make billions by being an idiot.
In a stark statement about the future of America, Ross Perot has suggested that the United States is ripe for a take over. The bleeding economy, and embarrassing deficit has so weakened the once powerful nation, another nation could be biding time, prepping for the movement–a hostile takeover.
When asked which man running for POTUS would be the answer to America’s woes–leading the nation on the path to prosperity–Ross Perot said that neither man would save the country. That much we can take to the bank…er, Credit Union…or, shoe box under the bed? Ultimately, it’s not the president’s job to save the country. However, the plans of prosperity offered by both parties seem less than appealing, and geared more toward satisfying lobbyist agendas. Perot went on to offer the following about ROBAMA:
“Nobody that’s running really talks about it, about what we have to do and why we have to do it. They would prefer not to have it discussed.”
He went on to compare the deficit spending, and Washington representatives as “fiscal drunks,” before posing this question: “It’s like the guy who’s drinking—sooner or later, he’s got to put a cork on the bottle, right?”
I don’t know, Ross. I guess we’re about to find out.
