FOX News Broadcasts Live Suicide–Shepard Smith Apologizes (VIDEO) ***WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT***

Which is the more shocking? The suicide? Or Shepard Smith apologizing?

Conservative news, eh?

Yep. Gonna embed it. You’ll go to YouTube to find it anyway. It is tragic. It is violent. It is not grotesque. For any parent, which I am, and many of you probably are–it’s sad. Here’s an individual at the end of his legal rope, running from legal authorities, and rather than be arrested, he decide to end his life.

The incident took place in Phoenix, AZ, and Fox News was offering coverage of the event via local tap. What you’ll see on the video is Shepard Smith believing they would go to a five second delay, only to find that the newsroom continued to broadcast the local Phoenix feed.

The incident is quick, and looks like a scene right out of a TV crime drama or a movie. Shepard Smith expresses his disdain for their dropping of the ball at the old Fox News studios. But then, what is so surprising about that? That’s a daily occurrence. Regardless of how you feel about Shep, the man knows how to deliver the news in an intriguing manner. And to hear him apologize? Several more people will commit suicide in fits of desperation, but you may never hear Smith apologize…ever again.

To warn you again. The following video is graphic. As mentioned, it is not grotesque. And why post it? Because this is life. If it bothers you, don’t watch it.

  1. Fox news make me wanna shoot myself in the head too!

  2. It was ok to show the car chase like they did with OJ but how could ANYONE POSSIBLY know he was gona commit suicide?

  3. So James since you are such a perfect media person and have such a clear view of how to do things, please make sure you point out all the times other media outlets screw up. I guess we can’t all be perfect like you.

  4. watching and listening to that hi-speed chase helps people on that road to get away and be aware..i dont blame fox news they didnt know that was going to happen

  5. AWESOME! Most of the car-chase “perpetrators” just raise their arms when the pursuit is over, not this guy, he had b_ _ ls.

  6. No Fox Fan Here says:

I’m the opposite of a Fox news fan, but must applaud Shep for his handling of the matter. regardless of someone in the studio dropping the ball, he handled this correctly.

  7. Shepard handled this very well. It’s awful it was on t.v. but no one could have known what was going to happened. Everyone has messed up but it is how you own up to it that shows what type of person you truely are. Someone of lesser character would have immediately done the blame game. I don’t think I could have handled that so well.

  8. Everybody makes mistakes. That’s why cars have bumpers and pencils have erasers.
