Daniel Craig Signs on For Two More Bond Films

Ladies. We care about you a lot at Manolith. So, we’re pleased to bring you the news that Daniel Craig will appear in at least two more James Bond films following this year’s Skyfall.

This is good news for dudes, too. The fact that James Bond possesses premier physical fitness is quite refreshing, considering the past few have been…well…a little soft. While skilled fighting may not rely on fitness, it is a big ask for an audience to believe that a villain, who possesses a distinct physical edge over the hero, is easily thwarted with a judo chop.

Yes. It was easy to get into the monster fencing scene between Pierce Brosnan and Toby Stephens in Die Another Day, but if we’re completely honest, Madonna’s presence in that scene (and film), pretty much ruined it. So…

According to the Bond fan site, MI6, Daniel Craig has signed on to play James Bond in the untitled Bond 24 and Bond 25. This would give Craig a total of 5 films, putting him behind Sean Connery and Roger Moore–both men having 7 goes at Bond to their credit. I’m all for Craig becoming the first man to hit 8. He takes the role very seriously, and truly understands the character’s legacy. And quite frankly, I can’t imagine who else might take on the role. But hypothetically, let’s say Craig finishes at 5. Who would you want to see in the role of James Bond?
