First of all, the Democrats probably don’t have to fight back at all. Eastwood’s bizarre speech, in which he rambled and lectured an empty chair, was widely mocked and the latest polls show that it did next to nothing in terms of giving Mitt Romney a bump.
But the Democrats are going to fight back, anyhow. And, if the latest reports are to be believed, they are prepared to do it by including three of the most beautiful women in Hollywood in tonight’s festivities.
The people at CNN say that they have obtained a schedule of tonight’s planned events and it reveals that Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Kerry Washington will be on hand, and on-stage, to speak before the POTUS officially accepts the Democrats’ nomination.
All three women were involved in Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign and all three have reiterated their support for him in recent months.
Prior to the 2008 election, Johansson told an interviewer that she had exchanged emails with Obama and that she was doing as much as she could to get him elected. She later backtracked and said that the two had never actually emailed each other.
