Seth MacFarlane Will Host The SNL Season Premiere With Frank Ocean As Musical Guest

Seth MacFarlane might have a hard time deciding what project of his he wants to promote when he hosts the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 15th. He could choose to talk about the premieres of all three of his FOX animated series, Family Guy and American Dad (both on September 30th) and The Cleveland Show (on October 7th), or he could focus on the upcoming DVD release of his hit movie Ted.

Ultimately, MacFarlane will probably just promote the brand of himself. That’s what he’s done so far in his career and things have worked out pretty well for him.

Joining MacFarlane on the first SNL of the season will be musical guest Frank Ocean. Ocean revealed that he’s bisexual earlier this summer and his new album, Channel Orange, has been hailed by critics as one of the best of the year.

The hosts and musical guests for the next few episodes of SNL were announced, too. Fresh off his performance as (SPOILER) Robin in The Dark Knight Rises, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will act as host on September 22nd. The musical guest that night will be Mumford & Sons. On October 6th, the host will be Daniel Craig and Muse will provide the music.
