It has been a few weeks since the bomb was dropped–Kristen Stewart was cheating on her man, RPatz.
Pattinson had yet to offer an interview, and when asked questions by roving reporters while promoting his latest film, Cosmopolis, he would ignore what hit his ears, or quickly change the subject. You knew with his sitting down to the desk of Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, that there would be no such luxury of simply changing the subject. Pattinson might choose not to talk about the line of questioning, but we all know Jon Stewart…who had nothing very nice to say about his fellow Stewart, Kristen.

Pattinson is playing this remarkably well. Sure, the guy is no Jude Law when it comes to chops, but he’s also not deserving of the raw deal he’s gotten from the male public because of the Twilight saga. It seems that RPatz is interested in one thing–protecting Kristen Stewart. Whether the two will remain a “two,” I gotta offer the guy some serious props for being a gentleman about his lady friend’s indiscretion.
In terms of this film…Cosmopolis…It’s Cronenberg. That would be David Cronenberg. You Twi-hards are in for a real treat.
