Sikh Temple Shooter was White Supremacist

Page, jamming with his band, End Apathy.

Wade Michael Page acted with intent and efficiency when he entered a Sikh temple, and opened fire on individuals preparing for their worship services on Sunday morning.

The events unfolded in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and ended with the death of 7, including Page, who was shot dead by law enforcement, after gunning down individuals ranging in age from 39 to 84.

Page held a sick advantage over his intended victims, possessing a hate fueled passion as well as 6 years of military service in the United States Army. Page once worked to the rank of Sergeant, before being demoted to a Specialist, and then leaving the military in 1998. According to his discharge orders, he would have been ineligible for reenlistment. The 40 year old Page has been described as a “frustrated neo-nazi,” by an acquaintance.

Page was, or had been a member of a white supremacy band–a musical band, as opposed to a group of merry men–called End Apathy. Here’s a link to the band’s MySpace page, if you’re curious…as I was. Just keep in mind that if you venture over, hateful comments on the message board isn’t going to do anything but breed more hate. We seem to continually remain confused about such a fact of existence.

In addition to the 6 individuals who were killed, a 21 year vet of the local police force, Brian Murphy, 51, was shot 8 or 9 times as he attended to a victim in the parking lot. He remains in critical condition.
