While this may looking like nothing more than a definitive example of stupidity, it is actually a practice that is quite common throughout the world. In many places, they’ll opt out of the grenade box and just go for dynamite. Whatever the explosive, it works. If it doesn’t actually kill the fish, it will stun many of them, allowing for a much easier catch.
