Jerry Seinfeld has a new show coming out. It’s called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It won’t be on television, though. This is a web series, which means that the bar needs to be set considerably lower. Still, it’s Jerry F’ing Seinfeld and he was the king of comedy for a number of years. Surely this will be a show worth watching, right?
Not if the promo for the show is any indication. Take a look at this piece of garbage:
That was the best they could come up with?
I guess we know that the show will feature Seinfeld sitting in a car with various comedians, but we could have inferred that from the title of the show. We don’t even really have any confirmation that the show will include any comedy. Heck, we don’t have confirmation that the show will include any dialogue.
This looks an awful lot like an excuse for Seinfeld to show off his collection of expensive cars and complain about New York drivers (such an untapped goldmine of comedy!).
If you care to watch, the series premieres on ComediansInCarsGettingCoffee.com on July 19th. Based on that pieceofcrap promo, it will include guest stars like Ricky Gervais, Michael Richards, Alex Baldwin, Larry David and Colin Quinn.
