Mike Tyson’s Next Career Move? A Broadway Show, Of Course

Mike Tyson was once the most feared man on planet earth. He knocked out suckas like it was nothing. Even after he turned a bit crazy, did some time for a sex crime and experienced the degradation of his boxing skills, he continued his reign of terror by biting ears off.

So, what’s next for the man once called “the baddest man on the planet?” A one-man Broadway show, of course. Oh, and it will be directed by acclaimed film director Spike Lee.

The show will be called Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth and it’s set to run for six nights–July 31 to August 5–at the Longacre Theatre. It ran earlier this year at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The show will feature Tyson speaking about the highs and lows of his life. Tyson has described the show as “raw” and “filthy,” but that probably shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone who’s the least bit familiar with the man. Tyson has committed rape, been addicted to cocaine and literally bitten part of a man off; he’s not going on stage to tell stories about flowers and puppies.

Tickets for the show are going for between $75 and $199.
