Are paparazzi really designated as photographers in the digital age? The age of information just made it possible for anyone to become a “photographer,” didn’t it? Digressing.
Alec Baldwin was leaving a marriage license bureau earlier today (Tuesday morning), when a “photographer” got a little too close to he and his fiance, Hilaria Thomas. Fair enough, this guy is a photog for NY Daily News. Not the classiest of publications, but respected in its own right. According to the photographer, who didn’t file a police report, Baldwin punched him in the chin. According to Baldwin, the photographer nearly hit him in a scurry to snag a photo, so he cleared some space. According to everyone who lives in one of these cities where paparazzi stalk like jackals waiting for weak prey to die, “Hit him harder next time, Alec!” According to the picture above, Alec clearly shoved the guy. Move along, people, nothing to see here.
It is only fair that there is general intrigue about the 30 Rock star, and his much younger, Yoga instructor fiance. They strut through fields all wet with rain, and back upon the lane again…wait…sorry, those are Van Morrison lyrics. But they do act in a way that young lovers do. There have even been rumors that she’s pregnant with a Baldwin baby, yet that seems to all be farce–more than likely she had just enjoyed a big breakfast with a lot of sodium. Either way, the couple plans to wed late this month.
