Pizza Vending Machine is a Real Thing, is Coming to the U.S. (VIDEO)

If there are four things we love here in America, they’re pizza, buying stuff, convenience, and not having to interact with people outside our social circle. Now, a machine that combines all four of those things into one, glorious experience is about burst onto the scene.

The pizza vending machine.

Yes, this is a real thing. And yes, it is as awesome as it sounds.

The Let’s Pizza machine was designed and first implemented in Northern Italy (where else?), and claims to be the world’s first pizza vending machine. It has existed in Italy and the U.K. for years now, and it’s set to appear at a mall, amusement park, bus station, or college campus near you.

The vending machine uses an infrared oven to cook the pizza at lightning speed – this means that you have a fresh, made-to-order pizza in your hands in just 2.5 minutes. And, you don’t have to worry about stale, greasy pizza with the Let’s Pizza machine, because fresh dough is made and toppings are arranged on a per-order basis.

The pizzas will retail around $6, depending on the location.

Check out this video of the Let’s Pizza machine doing its thing. And, if you need any more encouragement to do so, the video also features a woman in a miniskirt and some hilariously bad dubbing.

  1. We had a pizza vending machine in college 25 years ago. I think it was by Pizza Hut. However, I’m pretty sure they were frozen pizzas and it just nuked them to order. And they were small, single-person affairs.
