Reports say that the iPhone 5 will be launching in October to coincide with its iPhone 4S launch a year ago. However, many believe that the phone will be released a month earlier–in September, but a little extra surprise: It’ll be launched alongside the much anticipated iPad Mini.
The new iPhone faceplate was leaked earlier last week which suggests a larger display, smaller dock connector, and aluminum unibody design. Analyst Brian White says that Apple will most likely release the 7-inch iPad along with iPhone 5, and it will probably go down in September.
The pictures and YouTube videos of the iPhone 5 hint at the dimensions of the phone, but little is known about the iPad Mini. Some speculate that the iPad Mini will feature a 7.85-inch display with a resolution of 1024 X 786 pixel, similar to the original iPad and iPad 2. The iPad Mini may be priced at around $200 to compete with existing tablets.
