The NBA playoffs are a hot ticket right now, with the key word being “ticket.” As in: you need one to see a game in person.
Lil Wayne found that out the hard way when he was denied entry to Game 3 of the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs series last night. Weezy reportedly showed up at the arena without a tucket and expected to be let in. Nope, that’s not how it works.
Wayne took to his Twitter account (@LilTunechi) to complain about not being let in:
Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!

A representative for the Thunder explained exactly what happened and it sounds totally legitimate. Wayne apparently asked for free courtside tickets and was told that the game was completely sold out (as you would expect an NBA playoff game to be). He decided to show up at the game, anyhow.
Clearly, Wayne is being a gigantic baby here. Being a has-been rapper (let’s face it, that’s where his career is at this point) doesn’t guarantee you entrance to whatever sporting event you feel like attending.
