There’s an election happening right now – or at least, a race to see who’ll be beaten soundly by Obama during the general election. One which has provided us with some of the most hilarious soundbytes we could possibly have as a soundtrack to the impending collapse of our country.
The latest is one where Mitt Romney’s campaign advisor recently compared the former governor to an Etch-A-Sketch, a toy used for children when they’re terrible at drawing and need a quick fix. So maybe it’s appropriate for a politician that people are just going for because he’s a quick fix to the fact that every conservative position is on the wrong side of common sense and the direction the civilized world is heading in.
Romney’s opponents have picked up the comment, even though they’re woefully behind, with both Santorum and Gingrich appearing in public with the toy to try to really emphasize their position.
I wouldn’t buy a car from any of these people, much less let them run the government of one of the world’s largest superpowers. Thankfully, following this election cycle is like following your favorite Disney starlet — in four years, you won’t have to worry about hearing their names again.
