You already know how this story is going to end. Lindsay Lohan, noted dilettante in the art of acting and one-time celebrity, has posed with her boobs out in Playboy for a million-dollar sum.
Playboy used to have a reputation as a cutting-edge magazine for people who wanted the most in opulent lifestyles, intelligence op-ed pieces, and lots of naked breasts. Now, it’s the place where celebrities go to collect welfare money – when they’re hot enough NOT to be on celebrity rehab, but clearly past their prime. Lindsay Lohan is, at the ripe old age of 25, clearly past her prime. Her best acting days are behind her, her face looks more busted than a rest stop sign on an interstate, and now her primary function seems to be emulating Marilyn Monroe. Which her Playboy spread is essentially doing.
Come on Lindsay. Hollywood insiders hated Marilyn Monroe, and she wound up dying depressed, alone, and on a cocktail of drugs. Is that the line you’re shooting for? She also managed to sandwich a great career in the middle of all that, starring in classic movies for millions of dollars.
For a million dollars, Lohan couldn’t even be bothered for full-frontal. Laaaaame.
