Marriage is a fickle thing. It can stand the test of time, bond people together, tear them apart, or be ridiculed in the tabloids for months on end with no definitive end in sight. But the end is now in sight for Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.
Demi Moore used to be a super-hot movie star who was capable of drawing top billing, but for some reason fell off the face of the earth after she did the movie Striptease. Well, not for some reason. Anybody who has ever seen Striptease would be able to tell you that anyone whose career would survive that abomination had to be made of the strongest materials humans could muster – and she didn’t pop up again years later until Charlie’s Angels.
But a career in a slump or on the skids isn’t enough to stop a Hollywood romance that raises everyone’s collective stock. Ashton Kutcher was just the dumb kid from ‘That 70’s Show,’ for years, starring in the occasional bomb, and landing him a slot in the worst actor of all time category. But after he hooked up with Demi Moore, he had clout. People were talking about him.
Until he started cheating on her with multiple girls. Awww, good luck ya crazy kids. If you can’t survive, how can we?
