Snow White and the Huntsman is Hollywood’s way of sexing up a story that features a pretty girl lying comatose until she’s rescued by a Prince. Years of exposure to vaguely sexist fashion advertisements have put me under the impression that pretty comatose girls were sexy enough, but what do I know? I’m just your typically average, abnormally bitter internet blogger. SWATH stars Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Liam Hemsworth as the Huntsman, and what I imagine will be a calvacade of hardcore or emo bands providing the soundtrack to the sexified fairy tale.
But other than the entire Twilight franchise, can anyone explain to me why Kristen Stewart is such a hot draw? She’s an idiot on talk shows, sticks her foot in her mouth during interviews, and acts like she’s above the entire process of fame. Sometimes I wish she’d fall into a coma.
