Waterboarding is Good Stuff According to Bachmann, Cain and Perry

By James Sheldon on November 13th, 2011

If you were going to cast an out of the box sequel to the upcoming Farrelly brother comedy, The Three Stooges, I’ve got a pitch for studio execs. I think a reality show starring Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain and Rick Perry would crush the popularity of what Jersey Shore once was.

As the the GOP Primary competition drags on…and on… …and on, more and more crap gets pushed to the forefront. In the Saturday night debate, the topic of foreign affairs led to a brief series of soap box platforms for a few of the candidates. Most notably, Bachmann, Cain and Perry. All three are in favor of waterboarding, as an interrogation technique.

Cain claimed: I don’t see that as torture. I see it as an enhanced interrogation technique.

Bachmann stated that it was a “very effective” method, and offered a little jab at President Obama, delcaring that he is “allowing the ACLU to run the CIA.”

Rick Perry, grasping for anything after the last debate, got fiery: “This is war. That’s what happens in war!”

In that case, Rick. Because Hitler declared war on all things disassociated with his cause, I suppose it was acceptable to treat any POW as the Nazis did? I know he was a rotten human being–a bad guy, that Adolph Hitler–but isn’t that what supposedly separates us from the rest of the world? No doubt, Texas Rick, you think America are the “good guys,” right? Isn’t that what you’d be striving for as POTUS?

Herman. Not torture? It’s torture, man. If you think that it’s an acceptable form of torture in order to get desired information, then state that. Don’t tell me how you interpret it. Have you ever watched it? Would you subject yourself to it? Perhaps that’s the best way for we voters to learn if you really manhandled 5 ladies? In fact, Herman, I’ll tell you what…subject yourself to it, and you’ve got the vote of this guy, regardless!

And Michele…can’t really respond to you. However, if you’d like to know a little more about waterboarding, Mrs. Bachmann, feel free to enjoy the video below.
