A British man has been sentenced to life in prison after he suffocated his wife because she destroyed his childhood collection of Star Wars Toys. Rickie La-Touche, 30, suffocated his wife, Pornpilai Srisroy, 28, with a pillow and then was so distraught he ran crying to his mother. You can see their pictures below.
The incident occured back in April when the couple had a violent fight and then Rickie showed up distraught and crying to his mother’s house. All he could say was “I killed her” and then the police took over. Rickie, from Leigh, Greater Manchester, said in a police interview: “My wife is from Thailand and she keeps threatening to leave. We argued and she said she was going to make my life hell.”
Rickie also said this about the act, “She’s put me through it before. I couldn’t let that happen again. I then just remember getting up from on top of her. I think I’ve choked her.”
Now as a Star Wars geek I can understand his rage (I in no way support murder), so let this be a lesson to all of you out there; don’t mess with a man and his Star Wars collectibles.
