It’s finally happened. The rave-haired goddess that we’ve all come to love has flown free from her whimsy. And it means that tons of hipster boys are going to be chasing after her once she walks out of what I can assume is the caramel mountain she lives in.
Zooey Deschanel has established herself in the hearts of America as a loveable hipster, in roles that range from the socially awkward and dynamic Ssmmer to the girl from The New Girl, equally as socially awkward and just as likely to impose her awkwardness on other people. But lord help us, she’s a cutie. In what had to have been the most interestingly scored wedding of the season she married Death Cab for Cutie and Postal Service frontman Ben Gibbard about two years ago, but now the couple has called for an amicable seperation. Do you love bangs? Do you love whimsy? Good news, then. There’s about 1000% more of it wandering around now.
Who knows if Zooey is as awkward and lovable in real life as she portrays in every single show and movie? I certainly don’t. But we here at Manolith will, as our mission for the next three months is to stalk the whimsical Zooey Deschanel.
We’ll just do polite hipstery things like throw flowers at her. Trust us. Natalie Portman LOVED it.
