There’s not much you can say about a man who’s contributed so much that hasn’t already been said. So, thank you Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs, Apple Co-Founder and certified tech genius has passed away at the age of 56. We knew he wasn’t doing well, thanks to photos leaked by the ever-humane TMZ organization — but the fact this happened so soon after him stepping down from Apple is sad. The world lost a visionary. Apple released a statement today…
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

My entire life I used Apple products, learning to type on an LC II, playing Math Blaster to learn basic arithmetic and equations, and being taught the fundamentals of chess from a computer which hundreds of years ago — must’ve seemed beyond belief. The kind of thing you’d read about in science fiction. And now a man who helped make that dream a possibility has passed, entirely too young.
The world will mourn Steve Jobs — and it’s a testament that he’s so much a part of it now. Rest in peace.
