Who is Herman Cain? The world wants to know for a variety of reasons.
1st of all because he’s putting a thumping on every other GOP candidates that’s out there right now. You might be rooting for Mitt Romney you might be rooting for Rick ‘Texas Psychosis’ Perry — but Herman Cain recently made news by tying Mitt Romney in polls. It wouldn’t be that hard to top Mitt in polls, though — he seems like he’s just a haircut and a giant jaw. Have you ever seen The Muppet Show? Mitt Romney is the yellowish orange newscaster, made manifest into a jerkily motioned man made of money. Herman Cain doesn’t look like any of the other candidates on the Republican ticket — and there’s one more important factor I feel is contributing to his popularity.
He made his fortune from pizza. how more populist can you get than that? I mean, pizza? There’s not a soul in the world, no matter how maudlin, that hates pizza. It’s like hating the Muppets. 2 weeks ago 6% of Republican voters polled would be going for Herman Cain in the election — now the number is 17% tying the front runner, Mitt Romney. And Perry has fallen. So look out — the ex-CEO of Godfather pizza might be gunning down the contender the next election.
Wait. That sounded bad.

The intentional use by politicians of resonate slogans which obfuscate and distract some voters from the otherwise conspicuous absence of thoughtful, realistic or realizable fiscal or monetary plans and policies. Jay, comments with no substance other than a stylistic attack - which is what you are implying is all Cain's positions are - undercuts your entire argument, such as it is. But you go on going to so much trouble, unless you merely cut and pasted it from somewhere's else... I 'spose you disbelieve in KISS theory and Occam's Razor too, given your consistent philosophy. As for what you imply, NO ONE exceeds Obama's "Hope and Change" nonsubstantive slogans, and he, I believe, was elected president. Save your objections for Obama, and tell us whom you support for President. Right now, I'm supporting CAIN as the best man out there, on his solid record.
