How easy is it to be a DJ? Oh, Paris Hilton is plotting to become one. Wait a minute, what?
Oftentimes people get it wrong about DJ’s – they assume that it takes no intrinsic skill to be one, that mixing records for 4-6 hours at a time is an easy thing to do, and all you really need to do is provide some kind of computer or iPod to draw songs from and a crowd and boom. You can do it. But DJ’ing is actually way harder than that. That however, won’t stop bubble-headed heiresses like Paris Hilton from trying to cut their own dance record. Again.
Supposedly, Hilton has been slutting it up around notable dance-producers like DeadMau5 and Afrojack, in the hopes that somebody will help her cut an album. Just, somebody take her out back and shoot her. She’s clearly going to go the way of a Tennessee Williams character, reminiscing about the times where she was notable, people actually cared about the dreck she was shilling, and when she was attractive. Which was like a two-year period.
Then again, if her dance record DOES come out, it’ll be hilarious. The internet will dismember it — that’s something we can all look forward to.
