Glenn Beck Claims Hurricane Irene Was A Blessing

By Mark Lorenz on August 28th, 2011

You have to remember, Glenn Beck’s background is basically the bottom of a bottle and lines off of table before he turned to whatever it is that he does now. So he may be permanently damaged, along with being Mormon. Which is more offensive? We haven’t discovered yet.

So Beck’s thing this weekend, between stuffing his face with the prototypes of the new triple-stuff Oreos was claiming that Hurricane Irene was ‘a blessing’. He doesn’t believe hurricanes are blessings. No sane person can believe that. Instead, he says things like this so we’ll write about him and ignore the fact that he’s draining national resources for him and his borderline obese family. Irene was a blessing in Beck’s eyes, because it encouraged people to hoard food. Glenn wants you to be a paranoid family on the block, so you’ll be more susceptible to buying his products.

The US is looking at billions of dollars worth of damage and in insurance claims, I’m glad it helped us be more socially conscious in Beck’s eyes – but there’s a reason why you’re not on the Fox News network anymore.

You were too annoying for Fox News. Now build a shelter for the coming Islamic caliphate, and broadcast from there.

He in no way represents me. The hurricane was a tragedy in terms of life and treasure. I am so sad for the families who lost loved ones and property. I am David Honaker, and I am a Latter-day Saint ("Mormon") in Phoenix, Arizona.
