Lindsay Lohan is itching to stay culturally relevant in whatever way she possibly can – now taking her talents from the house of debt to the house of lawsuits – the courthouse. She’s suing Pitbull.
Pitbull, if you don’t know, is the kind of guy who used to sell drugs before he found out he could make a living rapping about how he was selling drugs. So pretty much the most annoying person alive – but he’s at the top of the charts right now. Making club hit after club hit after club hit, some of them namedropping people, like most modern songs do. Only one problem – that doesn’t jibe with Lindsay’s sense of entitlement. She’s suing Pitbull for defamation. For linking a line about being locked up in a song to her. Keep in mind, Lindsay has been in and out of programs for most of her life, had an entire intervention staged by Tina Fey and the SNL cast, can’t find a job now where she’s not wearing an ankle bracelet, and HAS been in and out of jail.
There’s no reason why we can’t associate Lindsay Lohan with jail. The last time we didn’t make that association, it was 2003.
