Anne Hathaway Throws Down on Conan (Watch)

Two Anne Hathaway posts in as many weeks? What’s not to love about Anne Hathaway?

Once upon a time in 2002, I was privileged to enjoy a Q&A with screen legend, Julie Andrews. One of the questions posed: Who do you think are some of the brightest up and comers–actresses who could enjoy a career as illustrious as yours?

Her answer: Anne Hathaway.

In all fairness, the two had worked together on The Princess Diaries, but apparently, the young Hathaway had left quite an indelible mark on Andrews–so much so that Andrews remarked that if Anne Hathaway played her cards right, she held more potential in her than any other actress of generation.

Since then, Hathaway has gone on to flex admirable acting skills, enjoy nominations for the most prestigious acting awards in the world, carry James Franco through an awkward Oscar co-hosting performance and occasionally allow enough insight to prove that she likes to ham it up with the best of them.

Last night, Hathaway was on Conan to promote her new film, One Day. During the interview, Conan led her on a path to talk show gold, via rap. A rap that Hathaway had written, inspired by and dedicated to the paparazzi and done in “the style of Lil’ Wayne.” I so prefer this “Paparazzi” to Lady Gaga’s.

She’s Catwoman, and she raps. What’s not to love about Anne Hathaway?
