Katt Williams Kicked Out Of Own Comedy Show

By Mark Lorenz on August 8th, 2011

Sometimes, the audience turns on comedians. But normally, they’re not dragged out of their own shows by the police. That takes an entirely different program of intensive crazy.

The kind of crazy Katt Williams is able to conjure up at will, like a comedy-demon. Williams has made his personal fortune on comedy, then used it to adopt 8 children, diss other comedians onstage, have members of his entourage shoot other people’s dogs, and basically engage in all different types of insanity. Once you get money, you can afford crazy. Crazy in Hollywood is different than crazy on the streets – if you’re crazy on the streets, you may die. If you’re crazy in Hollywood, it’s normal.

Anyway, the story is Katt was so belligerent towards the audience that the club called in the police to kick him out. He was removed from the 8 PM show, then told the audience at his 9 PM show what was happening, and they were understandably upset. Apparently, Williams hadn’t been onstage for the last two years. His material might not’ve been on point yet, but seriously. There’s no reason to make violent threats towards your audience because you’re bombing.

Even though we all wish we could sometime.
