Tiger Woods. He is one fickle mofo, ain’t he? I think I’ve finally figured his issue. I’m thinking back to young Tiger. Isn’t that what psychoanalysts do? Go back to your childhood? Young Tiger was pretty much told that he would be a golfer. Aside from being a golfer, I imagine Tiger was allowed to do whatever he wanted to do so long as he met his academic standards and worked on his golf game.
Anything he wanted…or nothing he wanted. Either would explain a lot.
The man now referred to as Tiger will return to the course next weekend, after an on-again-off-again 24 months that has included a slice of everything. Literally, everything. Tiger has done everything–and everyone. Most recently, he screwed (over) a dude…his former caddie Steve Williams. He fired Steve citing that a change was needed.
If you follow golf, you are well aware that Tiger likes change. He changes things up more than frequently on the course, and apparently in his personal life as well. Next weekend he’ll be changing his approach and strolling at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, OH, with Byron Bell as his caddie. Bell serves as the President of Tiger Woods designs, and has been a longtime friend. He was also an individual implicated as a knowledgeable party, aiding in the downfall of Woods. Sweet mercy.
Perhaps if Tiger wants more change in his life, he can try winning.
