Seriously, Adam Sandler? Seriously? This is the kind of stuff you’re going to pull after becoming one of the most beloved Hollywood commodities?
Adam Sandler is one of the most likeable men to grace the silver screen – his movies consistently gross millions of dollars no matter what the topic is; magic remotes, grown-up movies where Steve Buscemi frolics in a water-park, movies where he’s super rich – they all do amazingly. And now, to test all of our mettle, he’s going to be playing his own twin sister. His own twin sister. His own twin sister. He doesn’t even disguise it well, fusing his annoying character voice to the wig that he rocked in his SNL Gap Girls sketch.
It’s called Jack and Jill. Jack has a twin named Jill. The amazing thing is that somehow, they’ve managed to get Al Pacino in on the whole thing, probably promising him that the producers would be able to build scenery completely from things that are edible, like standing cake, and let him go crazy.
How can he keep making movies like this based off of how he made fun of them in ‘Funny People’? Does he not have a sense of….
….they paid him how much?
