Over the weekend, the most patriotic of websites was hacked by a nefarious group of malcontents. Who were sublimely, sublimely uncreative.
Fox News has a Twitter account, which ostensibly abbreviates the hysteria and paranoid narrative the channel peddles to 140 characters or less. Twitter accounts, as have been referenced by the numerous times people have accidentally sent pictures of their penis out to people – are easily hacked. So over the weekend, these two inevitable star systems collided and swapped atoms with each other – someone hacked the Fox News Twitter feed.
Only that someone was dumb. When you have the attention of hundreds of thousands of soft-thinking conservatives, you have an opportunity to rile them like a farm animal before it knows it’s being herded. But our hacking heroes didn’t do that. Instead, they threw badly spelled Tweets on the site, claiming that Barack Obama had succumbed to an assassin’s bullet. Instead of tweeting about Glenn Beck raiding buffets, and Bill O’Reilly’s loofah assault problems, they decided to tweet something that’d get them in trouble with the secret service.
You are stupid, stupid children. Instead of entertaining us all, you just bought yourself some prison sentences. Enjoy that. Enjoy being some of the only people in the world arrested for Twitter accounts.
