Twitter users have been complaining about the recent discontinuation of Netflix’s online services for some users. The site seems to be down but no word on whether or not the company is going to have answers to the 23.5 million users in the United States and Canada.
It all started around 5:30pm PST when users began to receive a “service down” message. Around 8:55pm PST movies.netflix.com starts to work in all areas except iPad and Apple TV. By 9:30 PST, Netflix.com is redirected to movies.netflix.com and viewers are finally apple to log in.
People instantly thought that it was another cyber attack, one user writes:
@Johullrich: “#netflix is down. Now the question is not how long until it is back up, but how long until users/pw database is posted.”
No word on Netflix’s Twitter Page on the disruption in service. We will keep you posted as soon as we find out.
