Just when you started to think that you may be getting sick of the cast of Glee – Ryan Murphy comes up with a brilliant idea so you don’t have to be staring into their screeching faces until the end of time.
They’re going to be replaced. The people who make up the cast of Glee will be graduating and moving onto other things – in the show. In real life, they’ll probably meander about from music gig to music gig, trying to scoop up premium movie roles and somehow losing out to the latest crop of Disney robots that have been programmed to move you to tears. Or to opening up your wallets and giving Disney more money.
In a recent interview, Glee’s show-runner Ryan Murphy has revealed that much like the plot device used in the British serial ‘Skins‘ – the cast is going to be replaced to make room for the new series of Glee regulars. Which will be awesome, provided that the audience is still there for the NEW Glee cast. If ratings are slipping anyways, pushing a new generation on an American audience that isn’t used to it might actually drive them completely insane.
So this’ll be interesting to witness.
