I’m sure you’re off somewhere that’s scenic and mellow, enjoying the kind of life that only a millionaire who faked his own death could enjoy.
Today, June 16, would’ve been Tupac’s 40th birthday, had he not been gunned down on the Vegas strip after a boxing match 15 years ago. Since then, numerous conspiracy theories have circulate that Tupac isn’t really dead – as he’s still releasing music that references events he couldn’t’ve possibly known about – the best example being from this sketch from Chappelle’s Show from a few years back. To celebrate what would’ve been his 40th year of life, Tupac’s mom, Afeni Shakur, is hosting a birthday celebration – the proceeds of which will go to the Tupac Amaru Shakur foundation in Stone Mountain Georgia.
The event will be hosted by Erykah Badu, and feature performances from Bun B and other artists – but it’s missing the real question – why is Tupac’s mother having a birthday celebration for him if he’s DEAD?
Either he’s highly influential or he’s still wandering around, waiting for a right time to reveal himself to the world. Maybe his spirit is hiding in the body of Ja Rule. Wouldn’t that be a shocker?
