Killer dogs in the land o’ Twilight? Unfortunately, this pack of wild dogs has laid legitimate and substantial waste in its path of destruction–not just the hearts of tweens and cougars everywhere.
In the past three months, these dogs have killed over 100 animals–small farm animals such as chickens and goats, and a 350 pound llama. They’ve wreaked havoc in Washington state not far from Spokane, yet they have only been spotted twice. Apparently, the pack is made up of 4 or 5 large dogs, which hide out well during the day and get nasty under the cover of night.
Residents in the area are concerned for the safety of their animals, but also for themselves–especially parents of small children. Such a scenario has been a concern of local law enforcement officials, and the reason why they’re diligently trying to locate this pack of incredibly intelligent canines which understand that the nighttime…is the right time…
One witness stated that a white wolf-like dog looked “bloodthirsty.” It will probably disappoint you to learn that none of the dogs have been reported as “looking like” Taylor Lautner.
Discussions about the dogs have people up in arms, literally. Some–New York Daily News/Larry McShane–have stated that the dogs seem to be killing for sport, rather than a need or desire to feed (Creepy). To offer a bold counterpoint, Karen Overall, a specialist in animal behavior has stated the opposite–that there is no evidence leading to such a conclusion.
C’mon, Karen. Get with it. It’s a much cooler story if the dogs are just pissed off, and killing anything in their path once the sun goes down. It would only be a better story if the dogs happened to be zombies.
We can rest assured that this serve as the “inspiration” for a film that is “based on actual events…” …with zombies.

Ghost in the Darkness. Good movie. Yeah. Who knows. The dogs will most certainly be destroyed IF they can find them.
