The Alamo Drafthouse is a haven for movie-lovers in Austin Texas, run by a pretty hip group of people that put on amazing events. Some people apparently can’t tolerate that. Thankfully, the staff is creative.
We’ve all encountered annoying blonde sorostitutes who do things like loudly text and talk during movies, demand things from staff members that they have no right to demand, and generally walk around like they’re entitled. They’re the dregs that are dragging down American society and turning everyone into lazy, annoying people. So when the Alamo Drafthouse caught a girl texting two or three times, warned her two or three times, then threw her out of the theater, our faceless hero decided to call them up and leave a hilarious, what seems to be intoxicated message. Instead of doing that thing where they share the message amongst the office — they took the extra step and released the audio to the public. As an advertisement for the theater.
I haven’t seen many advertisements specifically targeting consumer entitlement and making fun of the people who harbor it. Which means we need more ads making fun of that. Specifically. Like now.
If you’ve ever worked in customer service, this will make you laugh.
