Most of us have been there. You’re home for a holiday and Mom asks you to look at her computer for “Just a second!”, then launches into a million questions like, why is her PC is running “SOOOO SLOW!”, how she gets on “that FaceSpace thingamajigg you guys are always talking about”, or why she keeps getting emails from rich princes in Nigeria. My mother is, and will always be the smartest woman I’ve ever known, but thinking about her navigating the web all alone is nothing less than petrifying.
In honor of dear Ma this Mothers’ Day, F-Secure is conducting a short poll on Moms and technology to find out exactly how many of us are our mothers’ #1 source of tech support and how at risk our mothers actually are online. We’ll post the results later this week.
As a special reward for taking its (RIDICULOUSLY SHORT! AND FUN!) survey, F-Secure is giving the first 25 takers a FREE YEAR of Internet Security, a $59.99 value! Just click on the link below to take the survey, then leave us a comment on this post saying you did it and the first 25 commenters will get a download code.
